Directions and Visitor Guide

Welcome to Larkspur Conservation at Taylor Hollow

Larkspur Conservation at Taylor Hollow is a place for mindful recreation, whether you come to remember, hike, birdwatch, study nature, or simply meditate. Located just 40 miles from downtown Nashville, Larkspur is nestled along the highland rim in beautiful Sumner County, Tennessee, between the Gallatin and Westmoreland. Whether you’re here for a burial or a quiet walk in the woods, we hope each visit leaves you touched by the power and beauty of the natural world.

The preserve is open to visitors every day of the year from dawn to dusk.

Mobility Needs?

Because of our remote location, we cannot guarantee easy access to the burial sites for everyone. However, if you or a family member has mobility needs and cannot navigate the terrain alone, we may be able to help. We offer 4×4 ATV transport to the burial site for immediate family members with mobility needs.
